Who We Are
CVSankars Designs Limited is a consultancy based in Trinidad and Tobago, specialising in instructional design, digital learning systems, and knowledge management for international development, education, and public sector contexts.
We work at the intersection of learning, technology, and implementation—supporting organisations to design, deliver, and strengthen digital learning solutions that are practical, scalable, and fit for purpose.
Founded in 2020, the company was established in response to the urgent global shift toward online learning. Since then, our work has evolved beyond rapid transition support into the design, governance, and quality assurance of digital learning systems operating across regions and institutions.

What We Do
We support organizations to plan, design, and implement digital learning solutions that go beyond content delivery.
Our work focuses on:
- instructional design and course development
- quality assurance and governance of digital learning systems
- learning management system implementation and optimisation
- knowledge management and learning strategy
We approach each assignment with a focus on clarity, usability, and real-world application—ensuring that learning is not only well designed, but usable within the environments in which it is deployed

How We Work
Our approach is grounded in the understanding that digital learning does not operate in isolation.
We work in complex, multi-stakeholder environments where learning must align with organisational goals, delivery systems, and the realities of end users. This requires more than design—it requires structure, coordination, and judgement.
We prioritise:
- alignment between learning objectives, content, and assessment
- practical application and skills transfer
- adaptability across contexts and delivery environments
- clarity in communication and stakeholder engagement
Our work is informed by the Principles for Digital Development and approaches that emphasise co-creation, usability, and long-term sustainability.
Our Focus
We primarily engage in projects within international development, humanitarian contexts, education and learning systems, and public sector initiatives.
These environments often involve:
- diverse and distributed audiences
- varying levels of digital access and literacy
- complex stakeholder ecosystems
- the need for practical, applied learning
We are particularly interested in work that addresses capacity development, knowledge transfer, and system-level strengthening in challenging or under-resourced contexts.Development and approaches that emphasise co-creation, usability, and long-term sustainability.

Why the global outlook?
Digital learning operates across borders, and so do we. Through our network of collaborators and partners, we support projects across the Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, Europe, and Asia. Our work reflects a commitment to context-sensitive design—ensuring that solutions are not only technically sound, but relevant to the environments in which they are used. We bring a global perspective, grounded in practical experience.
Learning is often treated as a product—something to be delivered, completed, and reported on. We take a different view. Effective learning is not defined by completion rates or content volume, but by whether it enables people to do something differently in their work and environments. Our role is to ensure that digital learning is designed, implemented, and governed in a way that supports that outcome.
